every plan is a real postgresql 18 database with pgvector already switched on — the plans differ in how many of them you get and how much you can put in them, never in whether the database is the real thing.
pay monthly, or pay for 10 months and get the year — the same plan, two months cheaper. paid prices are excl. vat. vat is not collected yet. extra disk after the package is €0.15 per gb per month, extra data-out is €0.08 per gb, extra computer time is €0.05 per unit-hour excl. vat. at 95% of the extra-cost package you cannot add more of that use until you add usage credit or the new month starts.

the small print, in plain words
- can i start without paying?
- yes. the free plan gives you a real postgresql database with pgvector on it, api keys and object storage. it is the same platform, with smaller numbers.
- is it cheaper to pay for the year?
- yes. a year costs ten months, so you keep two. it is the same plan and the same limits — the only difference is how often the card is charged, and you can change your mind from the billing screen.
- what happens when i hit a limit?
- the platform stops you and tells you which limit you reached and which plan lifts it. nothing is deleted and nothing is billed behind your back.
- do the prices include vat?
- no. paid prices are excl. vat. vat is not calculated or collected yet — that work is still open, so a belgian 21% (or another eu rate) is not added at checkout today.
